Day and Night Bible ("the App") is operated by Kingdom Dew ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address and display name — via email/password sign-up, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In
• Users who do not sign in are assigned an anonymous session by Firebase Authentication

Journey Progress

When you use a Bible journey, we store your progress (current day, completed sessions, and completion dates) in Firebase Firestore. This data is tied to your account and is used solely to restore your progress across app launches and devices.

Verse Highlights and Streaks

If you are signed in, your verse highlights and reading streak are automatically stored in Firebase Firestore and synced across your devices. Guest (anonymous) users store this data on-device only; it is not migrated if you later create an account.

Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screens viewed, features used, and session duration. This data does not include any personally identifiable information and is used only to improve the App.

Audio Playback

Bible audio is streamed from our audio server. No personal data is sent as part of audio requests beyond standard HTTP metadata (e.g., IP address).

• Camera or microphone access
• Payment or financial information
• Any data from children under 13

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Remote Config: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Sign-In: policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple Sign-In: apple.com/legal/privacy

5. Data Retention

• Journey progress, highlights, and streak data are retained as long as your account exists.
• Anonymous session data may be retained by Firebase in accordance with their data retention policies.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data by contacting us at support@kingdom-dew.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
